Why did the manager just laugh after telling Stanley that he was going to make him useful at last my God is he evil ?

I sure wouldn't blame the manager for Stanley being screwed up. He didn't have much of a choice let alone a feeling of sympothy for that jackass of a steam engine. Just like Albert, Stanley just gave him too much to handle. If any one of us today were in the same position as the manager is, I don't think we would've behaved any differently in terms of engines who brag OR think too much of themselves instead of others.

They did good on Stanley's voice
