In my opinion, it depends on what you want. If you want a realistic theme, go for Hornby. If you Want tv series accurite models, Bachman

I dislike plastic blister packs. Too bad that the best features of both models couldn't be combined. I prefer the Bachmann despite its flaws, but I dislike the fact the bachmann does not have a front coupler. I am researching Hornby which led me here

@CalleyFan how do you stack that sort of packaging, pretty sure that sealed stuff is useless once you carve it up to extract the toy. That style of packaging came in more as a anti theft than convince
