Hi and welcome! My name is Stephen. Also known as Vision Scale Modeler, I create scratch-built Thomas & Friends locomotives & film working dioramas and sets.
As a fine-scale modeler, I've enjoyed making some of my favorite railways and scenes from the Island of Sodor when I started in the hobby. I appreciated learning about the craftsmanship of the talented modeling team that brought the world of Thomas & Friends on television under director David Mitton, with hand-made sets and props. I model both in HO/OO scale, and large scale in 16mm narrow gauge.
This fan channel showcases models and remakes of favorite episodes and sequences, with footage that feature animation and color grading.

A surprise reveal for the Thomas & Friends YouTube community! I started compiling unreleased remakes from the early days of my YouTube channel I'll put up this summer! 🎬 🚂
It's been a long time coming! Looking through my files, I found one of a few more Thomas & Friends remakes I was able to finish with my models from this early period of modeling and building sets for my Bachmann Thomas models. I decided to begin putting them together for the summer, Toby's Discovery being the first! Still one of my favorite episodes from season 5, this video was filmed between 2007 and 2008, and highlights the growth I experienced while in high school.
My art career since college has taken up most of my time, and I still working on modeling as a hobby. I'm thinking of launching a new YouTube channel, which will include model railroading, Thomas, and real railroad videos! Please let me know in the comments below what you'd like to see.
The first one of these remakes, Toby's Discovery, will go live this Sunday the 21st at noon EST, on the first day of summer! A few more of the last ones I've managed to film from this period will be announced later. Hope to see you then!

here. So yeah ... it's been a while. College, career, life-obligations, but I'm sill around! I found YouTube posts are a thing, and I'd like to post a major update!
I'm very excited to share with you guys that I'll be a guest on Nic @The Unlucky Tug's new live stream for Train Talk! We will go live tonight, Easter, April 12th 2020, at 8p EST / 5p EST! We'll chat about Thomas, model making, railroads, you name it, all things related to trains with faces!
I've been model making since graduating and having a job in animation. I've customized and weathered rolling stock in HO/OO and Large Scale, scratch-building structures for planned sets, and traveling a bit in the Thomas fandom, attending meetups and traveling behind steam at the Strasburg Railroad!
