Wanted to make a video about this but I don't think I'd be able to convey what I want to say.
What. The hell. Happened.
When I joined this community in 2024, it was vibrant, magical and whimsical. People from all walks of life could create and be welcomed as long as they didn't copy. We were a united, tight knit community who didn't care about religious beliefs or politics. It was beautiful, and one of the few sources of joy in my life at the time.
Then I took a 6 month hiatus (I was grounded) and when I came back, most of the magic was gone. Several of my favorite puppeteers had quit and at first I didn't really mind it, people quit and that's their right.
And then the drama started. Scar was bullied out of the community, people are taking sides, and I genuinely cannot take it anymore.
What happened? Where did the magic go? When did the trends become so bland? When did it become unacceptable to just... Be ourselves? Why are we letting our world die? I don't even know what's going on anymore, and I've become less interested in the community because of it.
Can we go back to 2024? Back when the world was colorful and fun? When our inner children could run free without fear?
