Nice upgrade

With your pictures and explanations it looks easy enough to do this mod. I have an AeroScout which I like except for how much runway it needs for takeoffs and landings. I just might add flaps to the plane. Besides, the three other planes I fly have flaps, why not my AeroScout?

What do you have on the horizontal stabs? Magnets?

A few last questions. Can you please give me some details on how you reprogrammed your Transmitter. Did you have to go in and change the Wing Type to 1 aileron, 1 flap. If not, how did you get a Flap option on your Transmitter. Can you give me some more details please. The physical part is EZ for me. It's the Transmitter configuring that Kills me. I have this airplane coming in the mail right now, and I fully intend on installing your Flap set up. THANKS a lot Sir.

The proper way to bleed off speed and hit the target landing strip with a sailplane is to slip her in. It works great and looks cool too. Sometimes if my Conscendo is really too fast I use low throttle and let the prop slow her down. Also my CG is a little past the rear mark and that really woke up the elevator. What a fun plane!!
