Oh, how I hate that line "I used to be as selfish as you before I had kids!" My X, who had 2 grown kids by 2 different marriages pulled that shit line on me.

I have nothing against kids or parents. If you want children, that's fine and none of my business. My issue is with people who, when I say I'm child-free, think it is their business to stick their nose in and tell me I'm wrong.

I never been comforted by a badgered person before. But the way I feel now, I EMBRACE IT, BRING IT!!! I don't care what anyone in my family or the outside world says, I'm going to continue living and stay childfree forever while defending my lifestyle against badgered people.

I just love it when people badger the CF and have kids that are currently driving them nuts! About a month ago, I was over at a house in my neighborhood a contractor was working on with my friend. Both the friend and the contractor were talking about how their teenage kids were driving them crazy and I said "And you guys think I'm weird because I don't have kids..."
