R110A Yall, the NYTM confirmed the Redbird and Low-v consists that’ll run for the Yankees opener this year. For the low-v’s, they’re running Boeing 757-200 aircraft. And for the Redbirds, they’re running one R33S unit 9307. Anyways, that’s all they are running for the Yankees opener. Aprils fools lmao. Also new attention everyone video coming out later today after a year and a half. (6 days ago)

R110A MTA Orion VII 2G+ #3762 on the Q60 to S. Jamaica 109 Av paper bus(remastered). This was made as a tribute to the 2 year anniversary of the last MTA old gens retirement. (9 days ago)

R110A 2 years ago on this very day, we lost an iconic MTA bus fleet, that being the 2006-2007 Orion VII 2nd Generation Hybrid+(also known as the old gens/OG’s). They were numbered 6690-6905(for NYCT), and 3500-3783(for MTA bus co), with one unit 3563 being converted into a diesel unit in 2013 as a test to see if they can convert the rest of the hybrids into diesels, which failed. These were iconic to the MTA because of the boxy design and the slanted window. They ruled the streets of Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn. These were also the last buses to feature the stop request tape, and the slanted windows. These old gens began retiring in 2020, with ENY being the first depot to end their OG era, followed by FP, then MHV, the. MJQ, then MCH, then QV, then BP, then LGA, then FR, and finally JFK being the last depot to end their OG era, with 3762 being the last ever OG in service, conducting its last run on the Q60. These OGs were all retired by 2024, with all of them being sent to ECH scrap. Unfortunately, all of the NYCT and almost all MTA bus co units have been scrapped, with 3525 and 3563 being the last OGs on MTA property and at ECH scrap, unknown if these units will be preserved or not, but time will tell. Still, I lowk wish I could’ve joined YT earlier so I probably had more footage of the OGs. I only have one pic of an OG(unknown unit) on the Q29. In honor of the OGs retiring, I’m remaking 3762 into a paper bus(even tho I Alr have one). Anyways, RIP to the old gens at the MTA 2001-2024. Still crazy how it’s been 2 years without them… (12 days ago)
