R.I.P. Timmy. Overall, she hadn’t been in the best health for a month at this point, but it wasn’t until this past week that she took a sharp decline. She was taken to get euthanized today as that was the only humane thing left to do for her at this point, unfortunately.
She and Charlie were born in the same litter, and they were inseparable as kittens. I like to think that now they are reunited. She and my uncle were also inseparable, and unfortunately he has now lost a close friend.
April 1st, 2008 - September 7th, 2025
(Her name was Timmy because I didn’t know yet that she was a girl. Oops. I was 7, cut me some slack.)

My cat, Pink, turns one year old today. She has been my companion for the last nine months and a source of comfort during the back half of an otherwise very calamitous year for me, 2024. There is no replacing Charlie obviously, nor have I ever thought of Pink as such, but I am still very glad she is now part of my life. I will cherish the memories I will share with Pink just like the ones I shared with Charlie.

Here’s a positive community post for a change: I got a new kitten. She came with the name Pearl, but I changed it to Pink (to go with my other cat whose name is Floyd.)
