For my dream kit I am a strong believer in Torpedo Octobrush. The 60 damage of a flying/rolled hit would be great for an up-close combo with a perfect swing hit, which deals 40 damage, and even the 30 Torp hit makes it a 2 shot, still. There's also the difficulty of fighting a brush swinging at you and a Torpedo at the same time for my opponents which I really want. And of course it can locate people which would be like the Autobomb it had before, but with much more offensive versatility, so I think Nintendo might do it again to reference it but change things up in a fun way. I hope they do.
Hopefully Kraken or Trizooka for the special, either would be amazing, Kraken cause I think it would be great for the positions Octobrush wants to be in, like when sharking, (and still, Kraken is absolutely rivetting to use anyway no matter what weapon) and Zooka to threaten the evil snipers with the holy one shot blast, which Octobrush doesn't have normally. (both of these happened in Splat 1 haha please let us play it again Nintendo).
Extra optional part about other possible fun subs, mostly bombs.
About other bombs, Splat Bomb would probably be the best sub for the weapon with the long distance pressure that the weapon doesn't have already and other regular bomb utility, but Inkbrush already got that and may be redundant. Burst Bomb would still make me freak out if it got it with it having a lightning fast kill combo (direct burst 60 brush swing 40, instant action after sub throw) and it just being a cool combo (burst + anything is a cool combo tbh..) but it's so difficult to do and would probably just be too similar to Carbon Deco in terms of role and feel. Burst is still the most fun sub in the game to use by far Imo so I'd still enjoy it a lot. Fizzy would probably be very awesome for this weapon, it'd have the fast trail to swim through, faster than the brush roll, also able to paint and pressure from a distance kinda like Splat Bomb which Octobrush can't do. Autobomb I think the location is useful though Idk much about what makes Autobomb useful for it, but I'd be happy if it got it anyway. Curling would be very disappointing please no, all it gives is a trail and for way too much ink, especially with the main's ink efficiency buff and Painbrush already has it. Splash Wall... lol no. And finally if it got Beakon I would be fine especially if it got a cool special (krakooka) although I know a bomb would help much more, I did enjoy Beakon still on S2 OB Nouveau but would rather something else.
