Description
Hey!!! I’m CrackBerry Kevin, and I’m baCKKK!

If you remember the glory days of BlackBerry, physical keyboards, and smartphones built with purpose… welcome home.

After a few years behind the scenes with my head down building companies including Clicks Technology (the viral keyboard case for iPhone, Pixel and RAZR) and Apostrophy AG and its privacy-first AphyOS, I'm firing up the studio and getting behind the camera again as we finally have a LOT to talk about, including my mission to #BringBackBlackBerry.

We're even relaunching CrackBerry for 2026, but instead of just being BlackBerry addicts of old we're not here on a mission to fix tech addiction and are building a team and a platform where we highlight and champion purpose built and intentional tech.

We’ll talk QWERTYs, innovation, digital sanity, and the mission to #BringBackBlackBerry.

Subscribe, buckle up, and let’s make smartphones smart again — one click at a time. ⚡📱⌨️

CrackBerry Kevin The Bring Back BlackBerry Movement Is Just Getting Started... What initially may have sounded crazy is becoming more sensible by the day… soon to be inevitable!! It's been a wild ride these past few weeks since I published the Bring Back BlackBerry manifesto. And while I haven't posted a ton of content since then, what I did post has hit with way more impact than I expected. We're talking serious traction... real conversations with real people who matter. Every single day I'm waking up to emails and DMs from fans, supporters, BlackBerry shareholders, industry vets, investors, and some folks who want to stay behind the scenes but are already backing this dream in big ways. I've had north of 150 calls since the article dropped just over a month ago. That's not an exaggeration. Some are strategic. Some are financial. Some are just full-on support... people offering their time, energy, and connections to make this real. And the most exciting part? We're just getting started. This still feels like Day Zero to me. The email signups continue to climb daily. We've got over 500,000 now following the @bringbackblackberry movement across Instagram, Facebook, and the petition/newsletter combined. It's surreal. And it's growing. Over the weeks ahead I'll beef up the BringBackBlackBerry.com website to provide more context of what we're aiming to accomplish and the why and how of it all. What's next? The movement is about to get LOUDER. Starting this fall, I'll be rolling out a more regular cadence of content and updates, and I'm launching the Bring Back BlackBerry Podcast which will be a long-form show that'll live on the CrackBerry YouTube channel. Expect guest appearances from voices of BlackBerry's past and present and future. We'll of course explore the future of what a new BlackBerry solution could be, and track our progress toward making it happen. And yes, on the topic of "Has CrackBerry Kevin gone crazy?"... I've had a few slightly evil genius ideas. My favorite? I'm putting the wheels in motion to get myself added to the ballot and elected to BlackBerry's Board of Directors. Seriously. Whether it happens next year or the year after... or the year after that... I'm in this until the dream becomes real. - CrackBerry Kevin Still typing. Still clicking. Still BBelieving.
