The Royal British Legion were incredibly litigious at the time, they tried to take several companies to court over Cannon Fodder. Even Amiga Power Magazine and Commodore, who had absolutely zero involvement with the game.

My main memory of this game is my friend borrowing it and over writing my saves. I had gotten Stu and jops to level 8, and returned to a hill full of tombstones. Absolutely devastated. Greg...you know who you are...

This was my Xcom before Xcom. I was obsessed with levelling up Jools and Jops.

Surprisingly well designed game that felt way before it's time.

This and Sensible Soccer were masterpieces. Everyone with an Amiga knew Sensible Soft and we all saw Capt. Sensible on TOTP

I spent countless hours playing Cannon Fodder and Lost Patrol as a kid, thinking all I'd ever need was my Amiga . This game is forever etched in my memory.

Narcissus by Jon Hare is one of the greatest songs ever included in a computer game.

The best series of games on the Amiga. I played them a lot back in the day!

One of my favourite gaming achievements was finishing Cannon Fodder back in the 90s. Remember been stuck on the level 'Chill out Iceman" for an age.

I loved this game back in the 90's. We tried to "recreate" scenes from it with my grandads camcorder up a local hill on our scramblers, where we would pretend to be the troops on a mission.
