The person who paired them up deserves a raise

Barbenheimer taking over the summer was something the world needed, two completely different movies bringing people together.

Apparently, it was Cillian's team that reached out to Variety asking for the pairing, and I find that super wholesome.

I'm not a person to ever watch celebrities talk, I have to say, this conversation was so calming, pure and beautiful.

It's so rare to see Cillian Murphy enjoying an interview and I am all in for it.

I suffer from debilitating depression and anxiety, don't leave the house very often and struggle with crowds. I really wanted to overcome it and see Barbenheimer. I got on the bus, went to the cinema, got popcorn and watched Barbie. Adored it. Then got nachos with cheese and watched Oppenheimer. Adored it. Came home smiling and showed myself I can really do this. Start to live again. It was a great day for me.

I just love how natural cillian is… no vanity, nothing fake, no facade… just him, pure and simple. It’s really calming listening to him

Cillian doesn't look like he hates life in this. How delightful it is to see him smile and laugh through the conversation. He initiated this pairing and wanted to be there, please give him more chances to make his own choices. The result is seeing him truly happy to engage with someone.

Y'all the way I was DEVOURING every single bit of Cillian's talking. Only the fans know how precious is having him speaking so lightly and for such a long time. That man never shows up anywhere, he doesn't have social media, it's a suffering to love him

apparently Cillian asked his team if he could be paired up with Margot and when she was approached she immediately said yes. what a great conversation.

Cillian Murphy notoriously hates interviews but you can tell he's genuinely enjoying this conversation with Margot Robbie - I think any conversation about the actual filmmaking process and acting is the key to get this man to open up; the problem is that famous actors have to deal with so many shallow and silly questions from other interviewers, for someone like him who seems to be a massive introvert it seems especially painful. But yea of course this seems more like a very organic conversation between two people who love the craft

I now need a movie with them. Their energies play off each other so well, her energetic enthusiasm and his calm introspective vibe.
