Description
We are Nerdy Teachers, quite literally, because we are a small group of educators who have a wide range of interests and a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.

Teaching coding through game development is our current focus. It is our launching point of this channel, but it will widen to other similar fields of interests eventually.

We have chosen PICO-8 as the game development platform because we believe it is the best option for beginner programmers to get into coding and creating as quickly as possible and have a lot of fun doing it.

Nerdy Teachers We took a break to work on our webzine all about PICO-8 and with the help of some fantastic authors and artists, we have another amazing issue for everyone. Nerdy Teachers We have reached the support goal to begin producing the next issue of our webzine Pico-View! So we'll be taking a break this month from the course videos to work on that. It will cover the last 6 months, Quarter 2 and Quarter 3 of 2024 in a single issue. Sorry for the delay in the course content, but I hope you can look forward to the content we will provide through the webzine this month. There's already a great lineup of articles. The release date is 30 September 2024. In October we will be straight back to work on the Course. (1 year ago)
