I'm most familiar with the Malay version as it is my native language. However, I have to admit hands down the original Filipino version is my favorite.

I first heard this song in the 70s, the Tagalog version and English version were available back then, both sung by Freddie Aguilar. Such an amazing song.

I'm born in France (but i'm Flipino) so i understand the "French Version" but this version it's not about "Anak" but for "Dame de Coeur" = "Lady of heart" like the Queen (playing card)
