The Adventures of Thomas & Friends is a continuation of The Railway Series starting after "Wilbert the Forest Engine." Every book following "Wilbert the Forest Engine" cease to exist in The Adventures of Thomas & Friends.
In the first book, or set, of episodes, Barry the Rescue Engine is introduced after Wilbert returns to the Forest of Dean as Christopher Awdry had originally planned. As "Barry the Rescue Engine" was never put into print, I am taking the opportunity to release my own version of the book to kick-off the series.
