I love this new update, doors used to be another slow paced mystery game, then with this update made it more horrifying. Seek and Figure are animated perfectly to let you know what is happening, you see seek go into an intense sprint to you then afterwards having the arms and fire surrounding the last room making it challenging. Figures cutscene rebuilds my respect for figure, from being another blind entity to perfection with a few tweaks. You can see him moving more fleshy and life like, Looking around like some sort of alien creature. The way it flails makes it seems threatening but makes you know hes blind.

This sequence made Seek unironically my favorite monster. Before it was Figure but Seek chasing you (and the fact that he instakills you if he reaches you) makes him feel like an actual threat that you can only escape if you know what youre doing.

I feel like the reason why the seek chase feels slower is to make it feel more realistic like youโre running from an actual monster thatโs faster than you to give you an extra revamp of fear when you realize heโs right behind you.

The new seek chase is actually challenging because the room gets dark and the light is duller so I sometimes get confused on which door to go through and I died when I usually can get through it pretty easily

Imagine an infinite challenge where Seek is just chasing you basically forever (with safe rooms every 100 or so) and only a few others (with diminished roles) were present?

One thing I hate is when the lights flicker as I approach the octagon. It makes it too dark for me to see which door to go through, and I lose so many times. :(

Pro tip: if you stay still during the seek chase you will magically go to the end of the chase! Hope this helps
