Merry Christmas. I know I hadn't posted much, but this was due to this year of me being hard at work with the beginning of Sue and Freddie getting finished so far. Specifically, it's the first story. Five years in the making brought out the personal growth in me, not as a person, but also as an animator.
If you haven't checked out the post from yesterday, I apologize that I forgot to give a shout-out to Nagara Yuzuu, or known as
@shouganaidousuru
, who auditioned for Yukiko Nagisawa, the lovely bunnykeeper who will be seen in Sue and Freddie 2. 2 can help prepare the roadmap for Sue and Freddie into a series moving forward with many adventures Sue and Freddie get up to when solving mysteries. The first story will remain active in production.
In other news, there will be light spoilers in which I'm reaching out to
@LannaRosee
and Milo Machin (aka mintiliciouss) to see if they could reprise their voices of Sue's Mom and Pravda in Sue and Freddie 4, as my sister finished her edits a few weeks ago. Please look forward to tomorrow, December 27th, 2025, when Josie and I continue recording the dialogue for the 4 into 2026, as we finished recording Sue and Freddie 3 this past year on my birthday.

Merry Christmas ft. Sue and Freddie.
The impact Justin (
@StaxVA
) made on Sue and Freddie cannot truly be understated. There was no doubt that without his talented voice work, the animation wouldn't have made it this far into production. He has been the Mel Blanc / Christopher Sabat as the Man of a Thousand Voices. There was also no doubt that I wouldn't have gotten introduced to Casting Call Club if it had not been for him nor his help going over the first Casting Call project, starting with that first story. It made Sue and Freddie feel like a Renaissance era after it became the direct successor to the short film, "Heather's Under the Weather". It was based on the Nancy Drew mysteries.
This past year, the first story, "Viral File," finished its deadline on January 8th, 2025. Likewise, "Bunny Invasion in Tokyo" has also finished its deadline on July 10th as the second story, which helped Sue and Freddie succeed in the Toy Story path. In fact, it has been the peak of teamwork involving Justin, my sister, and Josie. Ever since my mom treated me to watching Toy Story 2 in theaters as a kid, my opinions overall have never changed. I still grew up with Toy Story 2 since childhood, and I was still inspired by the 1999 film when coming up with sequels to my animations.
Please look forward to 2026 for Sue and Freddie:
- Sue and Freddie 1: Anthony LoGatto's voice of Radford Roquefort being animated to finish the beginning before the first story chugs full steam ahead with Justin's next characters being the rail staff onboard the John's Orient Express - John Jones, the driver, Richard Jones, the fireman, the waiter, and the conductor. MAGIX Music Maker will also start back up with new music tracks as well.
- Sue and Freddie 2: After the July 10th deadline, Sue and Freddie 2 is being storyboarded with voices edited in. More SFX will be recorded so they can be tightly edited underneath the dialogue. It's all smooth sailing from then on.
- Sue and Freddie 3: Photoshop artwork for Carlos, Maya Rita, and Lauri to prepare the next Casting Call project for only the brand new characters. It will be set in Mexico after taking inspiration there from March 18th to the 21st of 2024, where I saw the Mayan Temples of Chichen-Itza. This year's pumpkins of Sue and Freddie 3 will be used as reference for the official colors.
- Sue and Freddie 4: Because Josie and I finished recording Sue and Freddie 3 on my birthday this year, it is very possible that we can finish Sue and Freddie 4 next year. It will involve a podcast, a comedian with anger issues, and the consequences he faced for his offensive jokes towards the audience. Our next meeting will be Saturday, December 27th, 2025.
- Sue and Freddie 5: As seen in the photos, I went to France this year from September 25th to October 6th. It was a fun time despite this past summer's tightrope between learning French words and finishing casting Sue and Freddie 2 until its deadline mentioned earlier. During the trip, my mom bought me a couple of nice gifts for Josie and Justin. Both were given a bar of soap, Josie a lovely necklace, and Justin a box of French cookies. I also saw the iconic landmarks of Paris, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, and Notre-Dame de Paris. Because of these events, I was inspired to express interest in coming up with Sue and Freddie 5 set in Paris. Other trips I went to, such as Spain and Portugal, will remain as candidates for the foreseeable future, moving forward. The story itself is already being written down before sending it to my sister to do the edits.
- I'm also going to Palm Springs from January 12th to the 15th, 2026. Let's hope for a better magnitude for the new year to come.

As we approach Christmas, I would like to extend a special shout-out to a friend I made last year at work. His name is Justin Thao (
@StaxVA
). He's helped me a lot with his voice work for the Sue and Freddie animation as the Mel Blanc of the project, who, as many of you know, is referred to as "The Man of a Thousand Voices."
Ever since its deadline on January 8th, this year has been laser-focused on animating Justin's voice for Sue's Dad, which was the core plan. The beginning is mostly finished, and his next characters will be the driver, the fireman, the conductor, and the waiter of the John's Orient Express as we chug full steam ahead to the Clarksville Station to start the very first adventure of Sue and Freddie.
In the meantime, here is a sneak peek at Roquefort's Cheese Café. Radford Roquefort will be voiced by Anthony LoGatto (
@ottagol1985
), who impeccably captured the Peter Lorre imitation, as my vision of the character had intended. The bump texture has inspired me to build the exterior of the main building itself, as well as many other future buildings. His introduction will finish the beginning for good.
Since Josie and I have had a couple more stories prepared in the past two years, we will record Sue and Freddie 4 in 2026.

It will feature the next batch of auditions for brand-new characters Carlos, Maya Rita, and Lauri.
