This was a fun Toad centered episode. Toad getting pushed along by Gordon feels like something the crew would do in series 5 (which is fitting considering this takes place after busy going backwards).

I love the Alec Baldwin inspired narration, and love the idea of continuing certain model series epsiodes. I love how the faces feel like Season 12, with the moving mouths. The suddenness of the animated faces is really impressive like on Toad or Donald. I also love the details of Toad after he crashes into the shed and the mud from BGB, it adds that extra level of realism. Gordon putting down Toad for leading the train into a ditch is perfectly in character, and I love how even James is defending Toad for it not being his fault. The Oliver Toad Dynamic is wholesome as always, and I love how Toad sort of respects Gordon as he does Douglas. I also really appreciate how Topham gave him a whistle, it shows how much of a father he is to the engines. If I had to nitpick anything, I would've loved to see Edward's reaction to Gordon pushing Toad.
