A little known fact is that the Nintendo 64 was released on Thursday, September 26th,1996. The console was going to debut on Sunday 29th, but some stores couldn't wait until then and decided to sell the system before. After hesitating a bit, Nintendo gave them permission.

Some of my favorite games are from the N64 :3 Diddy Kong Racing, Perfect Dark 64, Jetforce Gemini, Flying Dragon 64, Rush 2049, Mario World 64, Starfox 64... I know I am missing others... probably the least known as Flying Dragon 64. Such a great little fighting game with RPG elements.

As a kid, I saved up to buy this console on launch day. Gave the money to my day to buy it.
